Acceptable Use Policy

1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of FursaFlow, including Learners, Companies, and Mentors. Using the Platform constitutes acceptance of this AUP, which forms part of the Terms of Service.
FursaFlow exists to give people a fair place to build and demonstrate real skills. That only works when everyone on the Platform acts with honesty and respect.
2. Prohibited Activities — All Users
No user may:
- Misrepresent themselves: Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information about their identity, credentials, or capabilities
- Harass or abuse: Engage in harassment, bullying, intimidation, threats, or abusive behaviour towards any other user or FursaFlow staff
- Discriminate: Treat any person less favourably on grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation
- Solicit off-platform: Request or share personal contact details (phone numbers, personal email addresses) for the purpose of circumventing the Platform
- Undermine the Platform: Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, data-mine, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems
- Break the law: Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity of any kind
- Spam: Send unsolicited bulk messages or use the Platform for advertising unrelated to your legitimate use
3. Company-Specific Prohibitions
Companies posting projects on FursaFlow must not:
- Disguise job advertisements: Post what is in substance a job vacancy as a project opportunity
- Displace paid workers: Use Learners to replace or avoid hiring paid employees
- Exploit Learners: Request work significantly beyond the agreed project scope without appropriate additional compensation
- Over-collect data: Collect or retain personal data about Learners beyond what is necessary for the project
- Remove attribution: Remove or suppress a Learner's name from work they delivered as part of a project
- Waive statutory rights: Require Learners to sign away or waive any statutory rights to which they are entitled under applicable law
4. Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience a violation of this AUP — including any form of exploitation, harassment, discrimination, or unsafe conduct — please report it to:
You may submit a report without disclosing your identity to the subject of the complaint. However, email headers may contain identifying metadata — if you require full anonymity, please state this clearly in your message and we will handle your report without attributing it to you. All reports are treated confidentially. We will acknowledge receipt within 48 hours and investigate promptly.
5. Consequences of Violations
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, FursaFlow may take the following actions:
- Remove or edit the offending content
- Issue a formal warning
- Temporarily suspend the account
- Permanently terminate the account
- Refer the matter to law enforcement or relevant regulatory authorities
FursaFlow reserves the right to take immediate action without prior notice where the safety or wellbeing of a user is at risk.
6. Policy Review
This AUP is reviewed annually. Material changes will be notified to registered users with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
