Step 1: Create Your Mentor Account (1 minute)

Section titled “Step 1: Create Your Mentor Account (1 minute)”
  1. Visit the FursaFlow homepage.
  2. Click Sign Up and choose “I want to mentor and share my expertise” (Mentor role).
  3. Provide your professional details:
    • Full name
    • Professional title (e.g., “Senior DevOps Architect”)
    • Work email address
  4. Age Verification: Confirm you are 18 years or older.
  5. Verify your email address via the link sent to your inbox.

Step 2: Build Your Expert Profile (2 minutes)

Section titled “Step 2: Build Your Expert Profile (2 minutes)”

In The Proving Ground, your reputation is the learner’s guarantee. Make your profile reflect your actual industry standing.

  • Headline: Direct and specific (e.g., “12+ Years Product Design | Ex-Google | Design System Expert”).
  • Bio: No-hype. State your experience, your areas of expertise, and your mentoring style.
  • The Arsenal (Skills): List the skills you can verify. Only list what you can rigorously review.
  • Photo: Use a professional, high-quality headshot.

Maintain control over your schedule via the Mentor Command Centre.

  1. Navigate to Availability Settings.
  2. Weekly Schedule: Define the specific hours you are available for one-on-one sessions or deliverable reviews.
  3. Buffer Time: Add mandatory buffers (e.g., 15 minutes) between sessions to ensure quality.
  4. Minimum Notice: We recommend requiring at least 24 hours notice for bookings.

Packages define how you share your expertise and how you are compensated.

  • Single Session: One-off technical guidance or code reviews.
  • Monthly Subscription: Ongoing support for learners tackling complex Live Ops.
  • Pricing: Set your professional hourly rate. FursaFlow handles the escrow and release of funds (minus the platform fee).

The core of the mentor role is the Submission Review Terminal.

  • Submission Review: When a learner completes a milestone in a Live Op, you may be called upon to review their output.
  • Direct Feedback: Provide rigorous, professional critique. Directness is more valuable than vague praise.
  • Sign Off: Your approval “signs off” on the milestone, adding a verified entry to the learner’s Log.

Your earning potential depends on your expertise and availability. High-demand technical skills (e.g., Cloud Architecture, Data Science) often command premium rates.

FursaFlow holds funds in escrow. Once a session is completed or a deliverable is verified, funds are released to your account and processed via your chosen payout method.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows will impact your professional standing on the platform.

  • Be Rigorous: Your verification is the platform’s currency. Only sign off on work that meets industry standards.
  • Be Direct: Direct, actionable feedback is what builds real skill.
  • Stay Updated: Keep your profile current with your latest professional achievements.
  • Maintain Quality: Excellent reviews from mentees lead to higher demand for your services.

Expertise shared is experience multiplied. Let’s start verifying.
