Mentor quick start

Get from sign-up to your first mentee.

1. Create your account

Click Create your account on the FursaFlow homepage, choose Mentor, and follow the steps. See Creating your account.

2. Complete onboarding

Answer four short steps about your expertise, availability, experience and commitment. We review every mentor before their profile goes live, usually within about 48 hours. See Mentor onboarding and verification.

3. Set your availability

In the Scheduling hub, set the hours learners can book you each week. See Setting your availability.

4. Create your offerings

Choose how learners can work with you:

Free mentorship: a four-week programme, one session a week.
Packages: a set number of sessions, paid up front.
Subscriptions: ongoing monthly mentorship.

5. Mentor and certify

When a mentee has clearly shown a skill, you can sign a Verified Skill for them. Only mentors can do this, so only sign what you’ve actually reviewed. See Certifying a skill.

You can also advise on a Team’s brief. As an advisor, you coach the learners and recommend decisions, but the Team approves the work.

Common questions

How much can I earn? You set your own prices. FursaFlow takes a commission on paid sessions, packages and subscriptions.

When do I get paid? Three days after a session takes place, to the payout method you choose. See Getting paid.

What if I need to cancel? Give at least 24 hours’ notice for free sessions and 48 hours for paid consultations. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows affect your reputation.

Give honest, specific feedback. That’s what makes your sign-off valuable.
