Your network

My network is where you manage who you follow and who you’re connected with. Open it from the left sidebar on the Feed. A badge appears there when you have requests waiting.

Following and connecting

• Follow someone to see their posts in your Feed. They don’t need to approve it.
• Connect with someone when you both want to be connected. They have to accept your request. Once connected, you can message each other directly, and you’ll also follow them.
• Disconnect removes the connection, but you’ll keep following them. Unfollow them too if you no longer want to see their posts.

The tabs

• Following: people you follow.
• Followers: people who follow you.
• Connections: people you’re connected with.
• Requests: connection requests you’ve received (Incoming) and ones you’ve sent that are still waiting (Sent).

Use the search box to find someone in the current tab. On Following and Followers, you can also sort the list, for example by recently added or recently active.

Sidebar

• People You May Know: suggested people to connect with. Click refresh to see more.
• Your reach: how many people viewed your profile this week, and how many people your connections know.
