The Feed

The Feed is where you see updates from people you follow, share your own progress, and discover people, events and briefs. It’s the first page you land on after signing in.

Sort the Feed using the options above the posts:

  • For You (default): posts picked for you based on your skills and activity.
  • Top, Recent or Following.

Filter by type of post: Wins, Questions, Learnings, Proof or Thinking.

If people you follow post while you’re reading, a New posts available button appears at the top. Click it to see them.

  1. Click the box at the top of the Feed to open the composer.
  2. Write your post. Type @ to mention someone.
  3. Optionally, choose what kind of post it is (for example, a win or a question) and add skill tags.
  4. Add photos (up to 10), a document (PDF or TXT) or a link using Attach.
  5. Choose who can see it (Public, Connections or Only you) and who can comment.
  6. Click Post.

Your draft saves automatically as you type. If you leave and come back, you’ll be offered Continue or Start fresh.

Depending on your role, you can also share something specific:

Role Post types
Learner Update, Milestone, Poll
Mentor Update, Package, Event, Milestone, Poll
Team Update, Opportunity, Poll

For an Opportunity, Package or Event, you pick one you’ve already created, such as a brief you’ve posted, and the post links to it.

Polls have two to four options and run for one day, three days, one week or two weeks. You can’t add attachments to a poll, and votes can’t be changed once cast.

  • Your profile card: your posts and connections count, Edit Profile, and Up Next, a short list of things that need your attention.
  • Shortcuts: Home Feed, My network, Saved, Projects, Events and Article Dashboard.
  • Upcoming events: events you’ve registered for, plus featured events. Mentors and Teams can also Host an event from here.
  • Trending Skills: the skills businesses are asking for most right now. Click one to see matching briefs.
  • People suggestions: people you might want to follow, depending on your role. For example, learners see Teams with open briefs and mentors see potential mentees. Click Follow right from the list.
  • People You May Know: suggested connections. Click See all to see more in My network.
  • Saved Content: anything you’ve saved.
