Advising on a brief

A Team can invite you to advise on one of their briefs. You’ll coach the whole group of learners working on it, not just one person.

Accepting an invitation

Go to Advisory in the sidebar. Each invitation shows the terms, whether paid or volunteer, so you can decide before accepting.

If it’s a paid invitation, the engagement starts once the Team has paid. Until then, the chat and session booking aren’t available.

What you can do as an advisor

• See the brief and chat with the Team and learners in the brief’s group chat.
• Create and edit milestones, if the Team allows it.
• Recommend whether work should be approved, or send it back for changes.

Only the Team can approve a milestone. They also decide who’s on the brief.

Sessions

The Team pays for a set number of sessions for the whole group, rather than per learner.
