Posting a brief
Go to Projects hub and create a brief. There are six steps:
- Foundation
- Requirements
- Team Roles
- Logistics
- Learning
- Review: check everything and submit
Your progress saves as you go.
Open or Supervised?
Section titled “Open or Supervised?”- Open brief (free to post): unpaid work that must mainly benefit the learner. Up to two roles. An advisor is optional.
- Supervised brief (paid): work you actually need done. You pay the learners a fixed fee for each milestone they deliver, and fund a senior advisor who’s accountable for how the work is run. Up to six people. Needs a Pro plan.
If an Open brief is really production work, it should be a Supervised brief.
For a Supervised brief, you’ll pay at checkout before it’s published. If you don’t finish paying, the brief stays in your Projects hub as a draft so you can come back to it.
Who owns the work
Section titled “Who owns the work”You own what’s delivered on your brief. The learner can always describe the brief they worked on, and can show the deliverable in their portfolio unless you mark the brief confidential before posting.
