Choosing your role when you sign up

The first thing you’ll see when you sign up is “How will you use FursaFlow?” Pick the option that matches why you’re here, and you’ll go straight to the sign-up form.

The three options

I want experience: Learner. Learn from a mentor and work on real briefs from businesses, then build a record anyone can check. Click Continue as a learner.

I want to mentor: Mentor. Earn by mentoring learners, advising a Team’s brief, or running a programme for an organisation, on your own rates and hours. Click Continue as a mentor.

Note

We review every mentor before their profile goes live, so learners won’t be able to find or book you straight away.

I have work to get done: Team. Post briefs (Open or Supervised), add a senior advisor if you want one, and keep everything that’s delivered. Click Continue as a startup. That’s the Team option.

Each option also has Continue with Google if you’d rather sign up with your Google account.

If an option is greyed out

Sign-ups for a role are sometimes paused for a while. A paused option shows a lock icon instead of a Continue button. If all sign-ups are paused, you’ll see a Signups paused message instead. Check back later. If you already have an account, you can still sign in as normal.

After you choose

1. Fill in the sign-up form (or continue with Google). You won’t be asked to pick your role again.
2. Confirm your email.
3. Complete your role’s setup:
   • Learners: onboarding
   • Mentors: onboarding & verification
   • Teams: Team verification

Choose carefully

You can’t change your role yourself after signing up. If you picked the wrong one, contact support.
