Completing a mentorship and certifying a skill

When a mentee has clearly shown a skill, you can certify it. They’ll get a credential they can share with anyone.

You can certify a skill once:

• a focus skill has been set for the mentorship, and
• at least two sessions have taken place.

Whether they’ve really shown the skill is up to you.

How to certify

1. Click the request count on Mentors hub to open your requests page.
2. Find the mentee and choose Complete.
3. Choose whether to certify their skill, then confirm.

Already marked it complete?

If you used Mark complete from your mentee list, the skill isn’t certified. Go to Certify Skills to certify it separately.
